Facilities

• Library Automation with Barcode System  –  used since 1^st December,     2008.
• Deployment of WebOPAC Service throughout the Campus  –  deployed since 2008
• Institutional Repository & Digitization–  IR hosted on the intranet in May, 2011.
• Deployment of WebOPAC Service throughout the Campus  –  deployed since 2008
• Library Automation and Security using Radio Frequency Identification  (RFID) & Electro-   magnetic Technologies  –  started using the system since 21^st March, 2012.
• Appending CD/DVD Contents in the bibliographic records  –  which can be accessed and downloaded from WebOPAC since 2011
• Computerized Braille System  –  installed and operated since December  2011.
• Token System  –  introduced for better security since 2012.
• CCTV  –  Electronic surveillance system is provided by deploying CCTV  in the vital locations of the building in 2013.
• RFID Proximity Visitors’ Attendance System – introduced to replace  manual hand written Visitor’s Register in the Main gate and Periodical section since September 2015.
